mls: El Camino Village Real Estate - By the Numbers - 01/19/12 01:24 PM
El Camino Village is a small pocket of Lawndale and Gardena with a very different feel than the surrounding areas.  I is an unincorporate part of LA with mailing addresses in both Gardena and Lawndale and the area is bordered by Crenshaw Blvd to the east, Prarie to the West, Manhattan Beach Blvd to the south and Marine Ave to the north.  El Camino Village has a very unique neighborhood feel with a wonderful quality of livng as it is a very walkable neighborhood with local schools often just around the corner, and is primarily zoned for single family homes only … (0 comments)

mls: Daycare and Preschool in Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo Beach? Get on that waiting list early! - 10/28/08 03:33 PM
One of the many reasons people move to the South Bay, and the Beach Cities of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach in particular, is for the award winning schools. Buyers plan their moves and even their lives around these schools, but often make the move years before kindergarten begins.

There are some great options for daycare and preschool in the South Bay and all have much to offer, but one thing that they almost all have in common is a waiting list. Some of the local daycares are in such high demand that they have a year wait, … (0 comments)

mls: El Segundo Bucks the Trend in the South Bay in September - 10/27/08 09:12 PM
While the real estate news in California was somewhat optimistic with the number of home sales dramatically increasing over September of 2007, the sales were due mainly to home buyers and investors buying distressed properties, bank owned homes, and short sales at significantly reduced prices.  The prices throughout the South Bay were lower year over year in September with the exception being El Segundo.  El Segundo saw an increase in the median home price of just over 12% while the rest of the South Bay's median home prices decreased with most cities experiencing double digit declines.

While the news in … (1 comments)

mls: Ice Skating In Redondo Beach? You Gotta Love this Town - 10/08/08 06:23 PM
One of the many reasons I enjoy living in the South Bay is the diversity and quality of the activities.  That, coupled with small town charm, makes for a wonderful place to visit and call home.  While most of the activities are centered around the beach and the ocean, the city of Redondo Beach has outdone themselves.  This winter they are offering outdoor ice skating at the Seaside Lagoon in King Harbor.  Nothing like watching boats sail by and the sun setting into the Pacific while enjoying this wonderful winter pasttime.   Located in the beautiful King Harbor of Redondo Beach, California, … (6 comments)

mls: El Porto May Be Your Affordable Option in the Manhattan Sand Section - 10/08/08 02:10 PM
While the real estate market around the country may be taking a hit, home values along the coast of the South Bay is almost as stable as ever.  The "sand" section of Manhattan Beach has remained particularly strong as oceanview and oceanfront homes that are walkable to the beach are always in demand.  Home prices in the sand section (see map) are reaching unbelievable highs with full lot walkstreets in the 3-6 million dollar range, depending on age, condition and view.
