Did you know you can appeal your property taxes?
If you bought your home in 2004-2005 and are concerned with the value of your property is less that the assessed value established by the Assessor you may want to check out the possibility of having your assesment challenged by filing an Assessment Appeal. There are no tax agent or fees required to pay for filing your assessment appeal. Timing is the major restriction and you can only apply from July 2-September 15th.

It's Carnival Time @ Portola Hills Elementary School - 04/25/07 10:03 AM
Everyone loves a Carnival and this is one of the best local community events in the area.
Portola Hills Elementary School will be hosting their annual School Carnival. Food, games, music and Kelly with Century 21 Superstars will be hosting the Petting Zoo which was a huge hit last year.
Make sure to stop bye support the school and just have some fun!

Congrats goes out to the students and faculity of Foothill Ranch Elementary as they have recieved the highest ranking in the 2006-07 API Testing. We can't forget the rest of the schools in the area as everyone did very well. See below for a complete ranking.

I recently posted a note regarding an upcomming event in Orange County, California for the YMCA Reach Out Awards. This is something that I am passionate about so I wanted to let all you locals know this is a great opportunity for you to get involved.
The Reach Out Awards honors outstanding leadership & philanthropy in Orange County. More importantly it raises funds to support the programs and services of the Community Services branch of the YMCA.
