orange county home prices: Orange County Fall Home Values

Fall has approached and today is a beautiful cool day in The OC. As snow is beginning to hit the ground in other areas, we here in the OC have averaged over 80 degrees since October.. so we get very excited on days like today. As the temperature drops around the country, many feel real estate slows down, but here in the OC that really isn't the case.
Below is quick look at how the market performed in October for The OC from the Orange County Association of Realtors.
As you will note, sales volume was up 6% from October 2015 between Single Family Homes … (3 comments)

Can you believe it… we are already mid-month in August. Fall is just around the corner. It seems people are finishing up vacations and or taking kids back to school as overall the market has quieted down. But to be expected with the summer distractions! The biggest change in the market in July was in the inventory, with about a 10% increase over last year. The increase came a bit early this year, we don’t normally see the increase till late August/September. Of course with the jump in inventory, we see a stabilization of price gains and homes not snatched up are … (3 comments)

The first month of 2016 is officially over and we are just about half way through February... Love is in the area as we approach Valentines this weekend. The weather in Orange County is suppose to be about 85%. Hmm maybe that is why so many people move here, I did say it was Mid-February, right.
So was love in the air for the real estate market last month? I guess that depends on what side of the isle you are coming from. For home sellers it certainly was, pricing and the number of sales is up over last year and … (7 comments)
