Home owners can still take advantage of the Eco-Energy grants offered by the Federal and Provincial governments by March 31, 2012 if your pre-retrofit audit and upgrades are completed before that date.
The audits range in cost, but are generally $360 for hte pre-retrofit audit and $175 for the post-retrofit audit.
The initial audit takes about 1.5hours and during the process, the home will be depressurized using a blower door and readings will be taken to determine how much air the home may be loosing.
