This brings back so many memories....all summer long my basketball buddies would search out these events to compete throughout the Pittsburgh, PA area......
They bring out the families to share in the events and the talent (entertainment) level runs from the young novice to the high school'er to he street ball-er to the trying to regain their past youth to the senior divisions where it is just nice to say we can still make it in the basket, LOL.....

I have been very fortunate in 2012 and for the most part all the transactions have been very smooth.  That is until last Friday, May 11th.....when I had my first ever USDA mortgage to settle.  What came to be was that the USDA mortgage part would not deliver  on the 11th as written into the Agreement of Sale, and this is for another more thorough post this week.
The Buyer is a great guy looking to take care of his two children and after a long drawn-out short sale that he had to walk away from after 6 weeks.....this current deal … (4 comments)

Another Mother's day is quickly upon us and once again Beverly's side of the family will be together again.....making the most out this weekend.
A Saturday gathering in Philly for a Mother's Day dinner, just not sure where it is this year yet......I am always the last to know, LOL.

Well Major League Baseball has completed its first month of the season and there are some real surprises.  Some of the divisions seem to be upside down, if you believe the experts.  The BIG bats are not who expected them to be or is it a changing of the guards.  The Closer situation is so crazy, knowing who in or out is not easy.
AL East.....Baltimore on top?  Boston on the bottom?  Baltimore has it going on all cylinders and I have been a Buck Schowalter fan as I feel he knows how to get the most out of good/young talent.  … (0 comments)

A couple weeks age we attended our youngest son's final sports banquet of college, he attends Immaculata University, located in Chester County and up to about 6+ years ago was an ALL-female college.
His years there have been very busy, he has worked w/and for the University in many departments all to ensure that the University continues to thrive.
His hard work both Athletically and more importantly Scholastically came to a final head as he was awarded both:
Kevin Moore was the recipient of both Immaculata's most;
Outstanding Male Senior Athlete and Male Senior Scholar-Athlete Awards.
