Opening night of the 2012 5th Annual St. Joseph Community Festival is in the books and a Huge Thank You to all who came out kick off this years event.  This was our best opening night in our young history and we look forward to more of the same through Saturday.
The weather cooperated which is always a key and the rest of the week looks just as promising.....PLEASE remember we are offering $20.00 one price ride nights every night.

Happy Father's Day to all those who are father's and those who stand in and act as father's for those who need.
My dad hitting baseball's to me under the bridge for hours on end.....
My dad yelling from the stands at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh in 1977, "you can do it Dan!!!!!"
My father in Law Richard teaching me fix things.....and it was not easy.....

Community Festival @ St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown, PA - 06/12/12 07:30 AM
Last weekend the first true labor step was taken to get this years event going......the transferring of the storage shed contents to the Church grounds.
This Saturday (June 16th at 8 AM) is what has become the "Building Day" for the festival booths and set-up of all that the Church provides itself.
While we are a bit challenged due to construction of our new Church, we are making due and there will be plenty for all ages.

For the most part the weekend in Philly has been very nice, today is such a beautiful sunny day.....a bit cooler, yet not that the windows cannot be opened wide.
Beverly and I had our Nephew and Niece over for a breakfast which was very nice.....
Last night after Mass, the neighbor's Bob and Kim, another couple also on the verge of being empty nester's like us were over for dinner.   We caught up about the families and the neighborhood......and plenty of laugh's.
