honor: An Hour w/God...... - 08/13/08 09:20 AM

Good morning my active Rain family.....and what a great day it is here in the Philly area.
I attended Adoration at or Chapel at St. Joe's this morning as I have been doing since we opened it I think nearly 18 months go.
This has proved to be the best hour of my week. I never let anything keep me from it and I have never gotten so much out of anything in my life.
To be in the presence of our Lord and to have the time to talk with Him and block out all other distractions that life brings.....is … (28 comments)

I know that in our society those who have the BIGGEST, the BEST, the FASTEST, the MOST EXPENSIVE seem to have it all.....yet I beg to disagree.
Material "things" have the capacity to make us feel good for awhile, however we all need to feel good inside in order have an eternal life that we can enjoy.
I am not saying that you are not allowed to have nice things, you just need to know that whatever you receive is at His discretion and consent.

Let me start by wishing all the Mom's out there the very best and happiest Mother's Day.....Beverly my wife and best friend and especially Shannon, the newest Mom I know and the Mother of my grandson, Luke. I have a true appreciation of the "profession", as I believe that it is one of the hardest and yet most satisfying of all, at least that is what my Mom always said.
