This is a BIG week for many teams in the NFL.......some may lose the rest of the season if they cannot bring home a win.....some losses may see changes on the field as well.
Philly is in a must win, they have lost ugly and need to make a statement.
NYG also need a win after letting one slip away last week, one they should have won on paper (I know that is why they play the game)

The NFL week 17, a week with plenty on the line.
It is great to see that the final week of the season means so much this year to so many teams.  The Vikings need the win they are playing the Giants who are set in their spot......
The Bears need the win, and are playing a Texan team playing only for pride.  The Bears and the Vikings need to win to get in.....however, the Vikings have the tie breaker.
The Bucs need the win, playing the Raiders who could make their season count for something by knocking the Bucs out.

Week 16 in the NFL has already been effected by the Thursday and Saturday games.  Indy has solidified the 5th spot in the AFC, leaving all the rest of the teams in the AFC hunt for the playoffs with only one spot at a wild card.....knowing the AFC east (a great battle for the conference) and west ( a bad division throughout) are still to be decided.
I really thought the emotion of the final regular season game at Texas Stadium would propel the Cowboys to show up....they did not and thus the Ravens took a big step to that 6th … (6 comments)

NFL Week 16 Saturday special is a good game with implications for both teams.....the Dallas Cowboys host the Baltimore Ravens in the final regular season home game ever at Texas Stadium.
Both teams need the game to stay in contention for a wild card berth in their respective divisions.  The Ravens still tasting last weeks loss to the Steelers and the Cowboys need to continue a December winning season to keep hopes alive.
I find it very funny to hear that Romo is not a sure thing to play due to a back injury in last weeks game.....Romo will play even if … (9 comments)

nfl gameday: NFL Week 14......a need to win!!!! - 12/07/08 08:55 AM
Week 14 of the NFL is a BIG week for so many, and many have their destiny in their own hands.
I am especially looking towards the Steelers and Cowboys game......for a few reasons.  First, my Steelers took the game they needed last week and made the statement I said they had too......second, the game is HUGE for the Cowboys and their desire to make the playoffs and lastly I am having dinner with some good friends and watch the game.....BTW they are Cowboys fans.
The Vikings need to take care of business and keep the Lions win-less.
