Yesterday I attended a Broker Roundtable luncheon at the Venice Area Board of REALTORS®. The speaker was Darla Furst, a member of the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC).  She talked about what the most complaints they received were about.
FREC has 7 members - all appointed by the Governor and approved by the Senate.
4 licensed brokers (licensed for at least 5 years)
1 either a broker, broker-associate or salesperson licensed for preceding 2 years
2 lay members who never been licensed

At the end of February this year, My Florida Regional MLS moved to it new office at 555 Winderley PL, Maitland, FL 32751.
 

 
The CEO of My Florida Regional MLS is Merri Jo Cowen.  There are about 50 helpful and friendly staff members who work in the office. I am not savvy, so when I have an issue with the MLS (Multiple Listing System) I will call them for help.
