President Obama wants to reinstate the assault weapons ban in the US because, as someone in his administration put it...."this would result in reduced violent crime in Mexico!"
Say what? Huh?
I must have missed that part in the 2nd Amendment! The part that apparently says "go ahead and ban gun ownership in the USA and while you're at it...do so primarily for the benefit of a foreign country!".
Regardless of how you feel about guns and gun ownership...this is clearly a gross misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment.

Does Chrysler Deserve any Bailout Money? - 02/28/09 11:41 PM
I was reading the Consumer Reports magazine today, covering the top car manufacturers. Honda was the overall top car company, with Toyota and Subaru not far from the Honda scores. What truly amazed me was that Chrysler did not have one single model in the report, not a Chrysler, a Jeep or a Dodge! You have to ask yourself the obvious question....with Chrysler receiving billions of dollars in federal aid, is it really worth it for the taxpayers to fork over enough dough to save Chrysler from complete and total failure? Snow in March? In the South? Pretty wild weather, but we should be getting some snow Sunday night, Monday morning and again Tuesday morning. I have no doubts my kids will beg us for the right winter clothing so they can go out and make a new snowman. We seem to get about 1 snowfall per year here in Greenville. I hope this one pans out to be a memorable snowfall for the kids!

It's 11:45pm on Saturday night and my wife and I just returned from a retro costume party. What a cool idea that was! We had a lot of fun! People were dressed up mostly in 60's 70's and 80's costumes. My wife and I went in 80's outfits. My wife was a tacky 80's prom queen and I was the over the top, in your face, make you wanna throw up after looking at me "80's rocker dude". Nobody could argue about the fact that times are tough right now. My friend in California just got laid off from his job of 9 years. Our neighbor lost his job and now has to relocate to another state for a new position. My brother in Michigan tells me he's barely getting by each week as the work flow has slowed so much.
The mass media reminds us all on a daily basis that the sky is falling.
