I read an article recently that stated there was approximately a 22% increase in homesales in Southern California in April of 2008. The article went on to mention that a good majority of sales and activity was in Riverside County, CA, and that much of the increased activity involved investors purchasing homes in some form of recent, on-going mortgage distress.
Today I read an article about foreclosure homes in Stockton, CA being bought up by investors, increasingly over recent months.
