First, I have to say that no self respecting Mainer would have a bottle of Mrs. What's-her-name in their pantry! Why bother, when we have forests full of those magical trees that put forth their natural elixir for all of our baking, pancake enjoying, and sweet treat making needs. This year, the sap is running a full 2 weeks early! The buckets are going all over town and throughout the Maine countryside.
