Being a title agent, I think there are two major problems that Title Agents face.  The first problem is that many people do not know what title insurance is. When people ask me what I do, I get all sorts of responses. But the most typical response is: What is title insurance?  Can you insure my car or boat?   If someone is not involved in real estate chances are they don't know what it is.   

That brings up a second obstical title agents face.  How do you market something that most people don't understand?  I have experimented with all types of marketing strategies.  But the one I have found to be the most effective, is old fashioned face to face contact.  In today's world, people need to see who they are dealing with.  Which type of marketing have you had success with?
