mesa things to do: Dia de los Muertos Celebration in Mesa on October 30 - Oct 31 - 10/31/10 11:51 AM

El Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead Celebration in Mesa, Arizona on October 30 -October 31. We were in Mesa this afternoon and stumbled upon an Dia del los Muertos celebration outside at the Mesa Arts Center. There were numerous booths with various "Dia del los Muertos" goods.

Also a temporary stage was setup outside on the northside of the Mesa Arts Center building for live performances. The Mesa Arts Center was also holding various demos and an "open house" of many of the art labs/classrooms. Glass blowing, paper making and ceramics were some of the demos available.
