clients: The Big Score - 11/13/08 12:15 PM
I just had dinner with most amazing woman. She is pictured on the right and her name is Linda Ferrari. She is the CEO and founder of Credit Resource Corp. Her book, "The Big Score --getting it and keeping it" is out today on Amazon or her website, www.lindaferrari.com.
She gave me an advanced copy last night and also gave me the greatest tutorial on the credit scoring industry. You bloggers know I have never pitched a product in my life, but what Linda knows about the credit scoring industry is amazing.
So in keeping it real since many of you … (11 comments)

clients: Minister of the American Dream - 06/16/08 02:29 PM
I posted this late last year, but after re-reading it I felt this contest was a good venue to re-post.
I was leading our weekly sales meeting, and we were discussing the shifting market. I opened the floor for agents to express how they were feeling and what are their expectations of the market. As you may imagine we heard stories of great challenges and obstacles. One of my agents, Tamika "Real Estate Diva" Bridgewater, bellows from her desk, "Excuse me, why all the sad stories? Are we selling buggy whips or typewriters? Do we really believe that homes are going … (6 comments)

clients: The New Real Estate Agent - 06/03/08 10:40 AM
I posted a blog awhile back titled, "Where is everyone", it was a commentary how less and less people were working in the office.  Ablogger named, Stewart Penn - West Hollywood Condo Specialist (Penn Properties), commented that his vision was that fairly soon Realtor would only be working from virtual offices.
I reflected on his comment and thought, if he is correct, our industry's standards are doomed. We become better when we associate with others. It has been said that the fastest way to increase your income is to get wealthier friends. It's true, you will have the net worth of … (27 comments)

clients: I'm mad as hell.... - 03/02/08 10:57 AM
I'm done with agents complaining with about the market, I am done with sellers complaining about the market, and I am certainly done with buyers complaining about the market. Don't even get me started with the media, or the banks, or my neighbor who has never purchased in his life and says, see I told you so. I am also done with people who bring their cell phones everywhere and even will read and send texts while you are meeting with them. Are they doctors, are people dying, what can be so important they can not get through a half hour … (36 comments)

clients: Life begins.... - 01/29/08 11:09 AM
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Never a truer statement uttered. To be successful in life or business we must be prepared to do things outside of comfort zone. We must have the strength and courage to change. We must realize it is not as dark and bleak as may think. To have the faith and understanding that we can change our destiny at any time.
The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is ground zero for suicides (I don't think it's because of the politics of the city, but that is another blog) one man who attempted … (11 comments)

clients: Help me become successful - 08/26/07 03:01 PM
Here is a shout out to all Realtors to help me become successful. I developed a plan where you all can truly be a vibrant force in my success in this new market.
Stop cold calling. That's right please do not cold call expired's, cancelled's, FSBO's, etc...we all know that cold calling doesn't work, at least that is what I hear so many agents continue to say. So, no more cold calling for you guys.Stop door knocking. That's right, no one wants you knocking on their doors and disturbing them. I have heard all of the horror stories on how bad it … (73 comments)
