Whew! My whole network w/ all 3 computers just went out.
I tested w/ iPad on 3G to see if it was only the home network. It was.
That was puzzling till I unplugged everything from the wall and rebooted. Everything worked again. I spent at least 30 minutes wondering what to test.
What would we do if suddenly we couldn't connect to the Internet...ever? What is plan B for you?

Amazing Midnight Cereus Blooms!!! - 06/15/11 07:27 PM
Take a look at my Midnight Cereus!  It blooms only at night around midnight. The bloom will wilt by sunrise unless it is overcast like it was this morning.
Snapped my lucky pic. It smells like a gardenia. The bloom is as large as your hand and the inside looks like a spider!

We are all buzzing these days over the new iPhone apps. The new Zillow Mortgage Marketplace App is really great.  
For my real estate buyers in central Kentucky, they all want to know what the rates are and how much they will have to pay in monthly payments. Knowledge is good.
These days buyers have to go to a lender first before looking at homes. Times have changed. I'm here to help with the home shopping, offer to contract, inspections and closing.

Yesterday was the perfect day to tour around on some of the back roads in Madison County KY with an old friend I hadn't seen in years.
We headed out of Richmond KY on Barnes Mill Road through Mule Shed Lane to Takes Creek Road, then across the Valley View Ferry and drove on to Lexington to stop in at Orange Leaf for yummy yogurt.
Sure, it was a round about way to get to Lexington, but Madison County really has some nice scenery to enjoy.

Back when I was young, my parents and grandparents would take my brother and I on all sorts of road trips to see strange things.
To keep from going crazy(or killing each other) in the back seat, we would make up funny rhymes about the Burma Shave road signs.
We traveled all over the South. Back then, there were road signs for Pall Mall cigarettes, Texaco gas stations and See Rock City painted on barns.
Later in the 70's Dad even owned a Texaco station! The man who wears the star...haha.

When I moved into my home, it was a barren wasteland of construction weeds, clay soil and buried trash.(Like bricks, wire, cans, broken concrete, etc.)
Now after 7 years, I can say that I have revamped it all a few times.  
I've added at least 30 trees and loads of flowers. This past fall, I added a raised flower bed to plant vegetables.
The fruit trees in the yard are nectarines, pears, peaches and cherries.
