The Kentucky River - Clays Ferry - Boonesboro - Valley View

The Kentucky River at Clays Ferry KY is a hidden jewel. When I was young, my family and I spent most of our weekends on our Sea Ray boat between the two locks of Boonesboro Beach and Valley View. My cousins that had a camp with a boat dock in between. Back then there was so much river traffic. Many families had boats and we knew everyone. It was one big family... for quite a few years.There were many unique boats.

Let me tell you'all a story about a man named,"Boone". Or is it really "Boon"?
There is some confusion over the spelling but Daniel Boone did put Boonesborough or Boonsboro on the map in 1775
while working for the Pennsylvania Company to find new land.
He built the settlement of Fort Boonesborough on the bank of the Kentucky River in Madison County.

I read somewhere events that happen before you turn age 18 impact how you deal with your life in the future. This includes child abuse, divorce of parents, death of a family member, moving, bullying, good or bad teachers, accidents, etc. All these freaky things roll together and form who you are and how you live.
