Savor the moment you are in. Life leads you in many directions and when you come to a fork in the road...take it.

Every spring, I love to work with Kentucky relocation clients and I also deal with the mommy Robins. Believe me... I'm just waiting for spring to show up right now! The clients are already arriving and we have been out touring homes.
Back at the office...the Robins try to build their nests in the hanging baskets if I put them out too early. Last year I thought I had outsmarted them because I held off on buying the ferns till the first of May.

The past few years have been great to get houses in Lexington KY sold for a good price. There were even multiple offers everywhere. What I noticed overall was just HOW houses sold faster. What do you do if you want to get your Kentucky home sold fast?
Why are other homes sold fast? It wasn't because: the agent was brilliant, the marketing was spot on, open houses were held every weekend or even that there was more than one prospective buyer.

Whats happening with new construction in Kentucky? Well... costs are going up because prices are still rising on materials.
If you have a good credit rating and are still considering building a custom home, you should get started because prices will never be the same. New homes are actually getting smaller... but will have more amenities. Large homes may be a thing of the past.
Compared to 2007, housing starts are down in Kentucky by about 1,500. The actual number of new homes being built so far is about 10,000. Many of them are custom homes featuring Green and Energy Star.

Yesterday, I was over in Jessamine County, Kentucky and had a little time to stop and smell the sweet aroma of country living!
The property I was to show was south of Nicholasville on Brumfield Lane.
