kentucky relocation: Confused and Stressed about Relocation? - 08/06/10 11:55 PM
Relocation is not always easy. Can you ever be sure what lies at the end of the road? Regardless of the time it takes to get there, it's most always enjoyable to just take a look around and enjoy people that cross your path. Spend time to find out who they are. Savor the moment you are in. Life leads you in many directions and when you come to a fork in the road...take it. Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others...cannot keep it from themselves. Finding a new home in the Bluegrass has never been so easy!

kentucky relocation: Horse Mania 2010 - Lexington KY - LexArts - Horsemania - 07/15/10 04:00 PM
Horse Mania 2010 - Lexington KY - LexArts - Horsemania It's time once again to see all the beautiful LexArts painted horses that will be displayed all over Lexington KY for the Horse Mania 2010 event. I was thinking about this as I was driving in downtown Lexington and thought I might be able to see a few that were already stationed around town on Wednesday afternoon. To my surprise as I was looking on either side of the street there was a whole coral of them on a flat bed truck in the middle of Vine Street close to Rose

kentucky relocation: Kentucky Relocation Robins Will Soon Arrive - 02/27/10 07:43 PM
Every spring, I love to work with Kentucky relocation clients and I also deal with the mommy Robins. Believe me... I'm just waiting for spring to show up right now! The clients are already arriving and we have been out touring homes. Back at the office...the Robins try to build their nests in the hanging baskets if I put them out too early. Last year I thought I had outsmarted them because I held off on buying the ferns till the first of May. I have a wreath on the front door that one Robin tried to put some twigs in to get it started. Those I threw

kentucky relocation: Lexington KY Real Estate - Homes For Sale - Sellers Can Add Value To Their Homes - 07/06/09 10:19 PM
Lexington KY Real Estate - Homes For Sale - Sellers can add value to their homes What Sellers Can Do To Add Appraisal Value To Their Homes? I was talking today to a Lexington KY appraiser about adding value to a home for an appraisal. If you have the best house in the subdivision don't upgrade inside. If your home is of less of lesser value to the neighbor's homes it will add value.Add square footage extensions like extra bathroom, bedroom, family room....basements don't count for much. 1st floor and above floors can add value of $65 - $85 per

kentucky relocation: The Easy Eight Step Program To Be A Happy New Home Owner - 06/21/09 10:16 PM
1.Find a REALTOR whom you can relate to. Buying a home is an emotional commitment. It's critical that the agent you choose is both skilled and a good fit with your personality. Have your own agent show you homes, not the listing agent. Call your agent if you see a home you want to tour. If you walk in an open house be sure to tell them you have a Realtor. Your Realtor will make all the appointments and represent YOU in the offer. The listing agent represents the seller and cannot disclose all that you will need to know about the

kentucky relocation: Lexington KY - Want To Get Your Kentucky Home Sold Fast? - 06/16/09 11:17 PM
Lexington KY - Want To Get Your Kentucky Home Sold Fast? The past few years have been great to get houses in Lexington KY sold for a good price. There were even multiple offers everywhere. What I noticed overall was just HOW houses sold faster. What do you do if you want to get your Kentucky home sold fast? Why are other homes sold fast? It wasn't because: the agent was brilliant, the marketing was spot on, open houses were held every weekend or even that there was more than one prospective buyer. What sold the house fast was that sellers took out unnecessary

kentucky relocation: Whats happening with new construction in Kentucky? - 11/13/08 09:14 PM
Whats happening with new construction in Kentucky? Well... costs are going up because prices are still rising on materials. If you have a good credit rating and are still considering building a custom home, you should get started because prices will never be the same. New homes are actually getting smaller... but will have more amenities. Large homes may be a thing of the past. Compared to 2007, housing starts are down in Kentucky by about 1,500. The actual number of new homes being built so far is about 10,000. Many of them are custom homes featuring Green and Energy Star.

kentucky relocation: Loft Photography: Lexington KY Downtown Condos and Lofts - 08/12/08 08:30 PM
Loft Photography: Lexington KY Downtown Condos and Lofts This afternoon I spent some time exploring the condo and lofts available in downtown Lexington KY. The clean lines of contemporary and modern are really looking good to me. There is something for everyone and the convenience of being in the heart of the city is intoxicating. If you are looking for something new in the way of housing, there are some good buys in real estate downtown. More people are thinking of moving to the city that work nearby. With gas prices and the cost of living it will be the trend

Relocating? How To Get Your Home Sold In Richmond, KY Last fall, I received a call from Prudential Relocation to go on a listing interview for a family that was relocating out of town but still in Kentucky. kentucky relocation: Lexington Kentucky IS a True Housing Bargain Says John F. Wasik - 06/10/08 10:24 PM
Lexington Kentucky IS a True Housing Bargain Says John F. Wasik I wasn't kidding when I was telling anyone who would listen that I was still doing very well in real estate in Central Kentucky. When I meet someone new and they ask what I do... the next thing they say is, "Isn't the housing market bad in Lexinton Kentucky?" I have been telling them "NO". But, I think they thought I was pulling their leg. Last month was my best month since I have been in real estate. Now it seems I ‘m not the only

kentucky relocation: Kentucky Residents Burrowed Underground For Seventeen Years Emerge! - 06/05/08 04:57 PM
The other night as I was driving back home through the country in Fayette County, I started to hear the sweet sounds of the bugs of summer. It made me smile as I drove along. Ahhhh....summer is finally here, I thought. You know the bugs that sing loudly and remind you of the deep South. Sultry nights on the veranda of your plantation. These are Cicadas. The other night I was showing a farm in lower Madison County way off Red Lick Rd. I was walking around checking out the front yard and there were small holes in the dirt...EVERYWHERE!

kentucky relocation: Jessamine County Kentucky...Life in the Fast Lane. - 05/30/08 12:44 PM
Can I enjoy myself while out showing properties? YES...I can! Yesterday, I was over in Jessamine County, Kentucky and had a little time to stop and smell the sweet aroma of country living! The property I was to show was south of Nicholasville on Brumfield Lane. On the way there and on the way back I couldn't resist a few shots to be able to share with you what I see everyday in Kentucky. The backroads are a blast to drive on and eye candy is everywhere. This red house was a former country store at Hwy1268. It was not in operation or
