Years ago, I stepped in my first Anthropologie store in Orlando. Now It's finally in Lexington KY at Lexington Green. It sure took a long time but well worth the wait to see all this eye candy. I waited a day so the grand opening crowds would be less then I ventured inside. I was amazed by the gorgeous displays and unique clothing, gifts and home decor.

Yesterday was the perfect day to tour around on some of the back roads in Madison County KY with an old friend I hadn't seen in years.
We headed out of Richmond KY on Barnes Mill Road through Mule Shed Lane to Takes Creek Road, then across the Valley View Ferry and drove on to Lexington to stop in at Orange Leaf for yummy yogurt.
Sure, it was a round about way to get to Lexington, but Madison County really has some nice scenery to enjoy.

I love my job! Working in and around Kentucky horse farms in Lexington KY is the best part of my day.
One great thing about being in Kentucky real estate is that we really have some beautiful horse farms in our area. It's always fun to show these farms that are for sale in Lexington KY. The past few days I have shown three of the farms. The weather has been perfect for touring and pictures on Old Lemons Mill, Russell Cave Road, Ironworks Pike and Old Frankfort Pike.

I was first introduced to the Dad's Favorites Cheese Spreads at the Lexington Farmer's Market a little over a month ago. there I met James Caudill and Susan Bratton that let me try all the different yummy varieties.
The ones I tried were Smoky Pimento Cheese, Asiago Sun Dried Tomato, Green Chili Jack, Chipole Cheddar and Swiss Cheese.
It was hard to make a decision since they all were so good.
I settled on the Asiago Sun Dried Tomato Spread to take home.

Lunch at Keenland Sales costs 3.7 million!
Well...not exactly! My lunch was $4.00 but for Mr. O'Byrne it was 3.7 million!
This happened one September, but imagine having a delicious lunch and in the room next door a live auction is underway at Keeneland Sales 2010. What is up for sale is a beautiful Kentucky thoroughbred colt.
The bidders seem to be hidden because it's hard to tell who is bidding.

It's been some time since I have been at the Farmers Market in the middle of downtown Lexington KY, but I have to say that it is bigger and better than I can remember.
In fact the new Fifth Third Pavilion is an awesome place to have the weekly Saturday event from 7:00AM - 3:00PM.
Not just vegetables and fruits here. There were artists with jewelry, pottery and paintings.
I particularly enjoyed all the tables that had taste samples of cheeses, dips, BBQ, desserts, olive oil, breads, candy and meats.

ACS is a company that Xerox acquired in February 2010. Locally, they already have 2000 employees. The new jobs will be in customer support, trainers, supervisors and managers. Pay starting at $9.50 an hour or more depending on the position.

I had a chance this past weekend to get out and take a few pictures of the Horse Mania 2010 horse art in downtown Lexington KY. It was a busy day last Friday. My closing was planned for 12:00PM and I was so happy for my friend that was selling her house in Richmond KY.
It was the second closing of a three house deal. Now that took some juggling for the deals and the three families involved. So far no unscheduled delays at all.
Almost at the same time, the elephants were scheduled to arrive in Lexington KY with the Ringling Bros. Barnum Bailey Circus train. Once unloaded, they were going to be paraded around Triangle Park and fans would have a chance to get close to them.
