Until the past few years in Kentucky, it was easy to get houses sold for a good price.
There were even multiple offers everywhere! Yes, we Realtors(R) were almost order takers! Ahhhh...life was good!
What I noticed overall was just HOW some houses sold faster. It wasn't because: the agent was brilliant, the marketing was spot on, open houses were held every weekend or even that there was more than one prospective buyer.

When I moved into my home, it was a barren wasteland of construction weeds, clay soil and buried trash.(Like bricks, wire, cans, broken concrete, etc.)
Now after 7 years, I can say that I have revamped it all a few times.
I've added at least 30 trees and loads of flowers. This past fall, I added a raised flower bed to plant vegetables.
The fruit trees in the yard are nectarines, pears, peaches and cherries.

It's hard to believe that two years have already passed since the grand opening of Richmond Centre Cinemark in Richmond KY.
I had been invited along with hundreds of other folks to attend the Grand opening party.
A light snow fall fell on our heads as we anxiously waited on the sidewalk for the doors to open at 6:30PM.
It was the coldest night of the season but it had the feel of a Christmas Eve.

Lovely to see a staging video that takes a bite out of the learning curve for novices. At Lizette Realty we do our share of getting houses ready for the market and October is a big month for us. Despite of the slow market in other areas Central Kentucky is doing very well and we have been busy with new buyers.
