What is swine flu?
Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by Type A influenza viruses. Outbreaks of swine flu happen regularly in pigs.  People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen.  Most commonly, human cases of swine flu happen in people who are around pigs and it is possible for swine flu viruses to spread from person to person.

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California took an action unseen since the early 1990s. On April 14, Metropolitan's board voted to cut water deliveries, while phasing in price increases, to local water agencies.
While the State has certainly suffered from the effects of its first multi-year drought since 1987-1992, we are also paying for costly environmental regulations. Local agencies have made considerable strides to enhance local supplies and improve efficiency. However, legal and bureaucratic red tape is shrinking water deliveries even as demand grows.

CITY OF CORONA ADOPTS DROUGHT ORDINANCE - 04/20/09 01:24 PM
Recently the Corona City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2962 in response to drought conditions in the State of California. This drought ordinance sets forth guidelines for water conservation through five different stages of cut backs. It details activities which may be prohibited during times of water shortage emergencies, as well as consequences that the City may take in order to ensure compliance with these guidelines, including fines and penalties.
In the ordinance three activities are identified as unreasonable uses of water, and are prohibited at all times, throughout all Water Conservation Stages:
