Phoenix Holds 19th Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
The city of Phoenix held its 19th annual 9/11 memorial ceremony at the Phoenix Fire Training Academy. Normally held at Phoenix City Hall, the ceremony was closed to the public but was livestreamed on the city's and police department's Facebook pages aside from PHX TV (Cox 11/CL 8005).
City, police and fire officials observed social distancing while wearing masks during the event. The ceremony started at 9 a.m. with a moment of silence and a prayer in remembrance of the 2,977 people who lost their lives on that fateful day in 2001, including 343 firefighters and … (0 comments)

Just as memorable and patriotic as ever, the 15th Annual Healing Field for the greater Phoenix community kicked off this weekend with the setting up of flags on Saturday morning.
Nearly 3,000 eight foot tall American Flags were erected by volunteers to honor the memories of those we've lost on that fateful day seventeen years ago.
With a very powerful message to feel and heart, the nation's longest running Sept. 11, 2001 tribute continues to serve as a testament to the strength and unity of Americans.

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Arizona Wing's Blood Donation Program, Operation Pulse Lift 2017, is underway with the Falcon Composite Squadron 305 setting up a donation site at the CAP building at Falcon Field Airport for Wednesday, April 12th.
