New home construction, job creation, and household growth were the criterias used by Realtor.com early April to determine America's Top Boom Towns and Gilbert, AZ came out first followed by Los Angeles, CA and Dallas, TX at second and third, respectively.
Each and every market that made the list has experienced an increase of one to five times the average job growth of the Top 100 counties in the country, household growth between one and seven times and new home starts are up to six times. Back in the 80’s, it had a population under 6,000, but it has grown to nearly 236,000 as of 2014!
