You're winning the game... are you happy how you got there?I was watching the movie Blue Chips (1994) with Nick Nolte as a college basketball coach who gives in to the pressure to "buy" their star basketball players (definitely a No-No under NCAA rules.)

Today was a perfect "Spring" day in February to try out these hand built Chesapeake Light Craft Kayaks. 
Chesapeake Light Crafts (CLC)   offers boat kits, boat building materials and boat plans for kayaks, row boats, sailboats and other small watercraft.  Yes, an amateur can build this boat.  (I know... we almost ended up with one in our garage!)  Today there was a demonstration at George English Parkin Ft Lauderdale, where anyone interested or even just curious could try out several of their boats.

There may be a reason your closet is full of black.  I read an article in STIR by Sherwin-Williams in which it discussed Age-Related Color Bias.  Now the information in it is nothing really new or earth shattering but  it pointed out that many studies have been conducted that showed an age related color bias when selecting colors for building projects and architectural design.

It's already started... my annual withdrawal from football better known in my house as "What are we going to do for the next 6 months?"
If I were to be honest, the withdrawal began yesterday, Super Bowl Sunday while there was still several hours of football left.  You see, I'm from Texas where if you weren't playing football you were watching it...
