How about a phone call from an Active Rain member with a referral?
Yes, that's exactly right. 
This morning I received a phone call.  A woman mentioned her name and company and proceeded to tell me she had a referral for me if I was interested.  We talked for a while.  During that time she mentioned that she had received the referral through Active Rain and knew of me because of Active Rain.  At the end of the conversation I asked for her name.  (I often don't catch it when it is the first thing someone tells me.)  With that she repeated her … (20 comments)
