lifework balance: We Are Told to Stop and Smell the Roses

WE ARE TOLD TO STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES by those who feel that we may be working too hard. They tell us that all work and no play etc, or that when we are on our deathbeds we will remember the vacations, not the long workdays, work balance is critical, etc, etc. Of course if you cannot feed your family, that family time loses some of its charm. Anyway, I decided to try that smelling the roses thing. What an excellent idea! The first day I tried it, I found a rose and loved it, so I tried it again the next … (4 comments)
