Feeling at Home After Your Move - 02/10/09 10:35 AM

Moving into a new home can be an adventure if you have the right attitude and strategy for getting settled in. Therefore, I have an action plan that will get you focused, proactive and organized.
Pre-Move
·         Take a trip to the post office and complete a change of address form or hop online and visit http://www.usps.com and complete the online form. If you have any subscriptions, you will want to send them your change of address as soon as possible.
·         If you have children in school, go ahead and get them enrolled if you are within driving range.

Thousands Coming for Lake Havasu’s 24th Winterfest - 02/03/09 07:43 PM

Lake Havasu City, Arizona will celebrate its 24th Winterfest this Saturday and Sunday, February 7th and February 8th. There will be over 250 vendors along McCulloch Boulevard serving the expected 40,000 visitors. The Winterfest celebration is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Make your way to the city's Uptown Main Street district between Smoketree Avenue and Acoma Boulevard and you will find all the fun. There will be the usual artisans and purveyors that are there, along with live entertainment, food and refreshments. A variety of food will be served … (0 comments)
