Round Rock Toll Roads promote the Expansion of City Limits - 10/10/07 05:28 PM
 
The Round Rock portion of Toll 130 runs through the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction only, which means it is not within city limits and cannot be zoned and it does not have any infrastructure yet.  That is the major reason no development projects are underway."Our utilities are not out there yet," said Joe Vining, vice president of economic development in Round Rock. "Once that happens, then we'll see some development."

Grand Opening of Cedar Parks 1890 Ranch Shopping Center - 10/06/07 02:42 PM

I am so excited about this!  As a member of this community I am definitely looking forward to having all this terrific shopping and restaurants near by!  -
With 385,000 square feet of space 1890 Ranch will open with 9% occupancy 2 p.m. next Sunday October 14. However, they will be open on Wed October 10th for limited hours to "practice" for the opening.  In fact, some places have been almost ready to open for a few weeks now.The Ranch will have one of the few Starbucks in the nation that has drive-through service. -YIPPEE!!  The Cinemark theater will have 12 screens. This year's is the fifth annual festival, which features music, vendors and other activities.  Come out this weekend Oct. 5 through Oct. 7 in Old Town Leander to enjoy a wonderful fun filled event.
 Several bands will appear throughout the weekend, including Bonneville Country Pine Box, Caught Listening, the John Gaar Band, and Jean Pierre and the Zydeco Angels.
Other activities will include an art exhibit, a bake-off, miniature fire truck rides, a chili cook-off, pony rides and other children's events.

LAkeling Ranch home sales are still going strong!  Last month Homes Sales continued to see appreciation in Lakeline Ranch.  Comparing the price per square foot of homes sold in September 2007 to homes sold in September of 2006 shows ~4.4% increase although days on the market increased in comparison.

Leander homes are definitely seeing some appreciation!  The expansion of 183, big business moving in are just some of the reasons why!  Great schools and quality of living are some other reasons!  Here is what the stats say this month.  There was a crazy appreciation of ~48% in price per square foot when comparing this years September sales to last years September sales.  It will be interesting to see just how much appreciation of Leander homes occurred between the years 2006 and 2007 once this year comes to an end.  -I have no doubts we will have seen an increase in … (0 comments)

Round Rock home sales are still going strong despite the national woes!  Home salesprice per square foot continues to increase and days on the market are approximately the same as last year.  Over all there was a ~8.3% increase in price per square foot for home sales in Round Rockcompared to the same time last year (month of September of 2006).  This is strong evidence that prices are continuing to increase in our specific market!  That is great news!!

Come on out and see what this festival is about!  Held annually this festival has been an ongoing tradition in Brushy Creek for 13 years!
The Brushy Creek Women's Association and Brushy Creek MUD will host the Hairy Man Festival, Oct. 13 noon to 7 p.m. in Cat Hollow Park, 8600 O'Connor Drive. New Road Projects in Williamson County -Round Rock - 10/02/07 09:51 PM
Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is taking on two new road projects in Round Rock
Widening Sam Bass Rd.
This project is still in its design phase and will reconstruct Sam Bass Road to a four-lane divided urban arterial (east) from Meadows Drive to the IH 35 southbound frontage road.  In addition, the reconstruction of Chisholm Trail from 400 feet north of Sam Bass Road and reconstruction of the railroad crossing will also be included in the design.  The project will replace and/or relocate all water and wastewater lines, including services that are undersized, too shallow or in disrepair.  Estimated completion for this project is December … (0 comments)
