The Cotee River Bike Fest was a blast.
It was held this past weekend in downtown New Port Richey, Florida.
I wrote about it here a few days ago. Of course I took some pictures:
There were so many bikes there. It was amazing and difficult to choose which pictures to post.
These are a small fraction of what I saw :-)

New Port Richey, Florida Cotee River Bike Fest October 9-11, 2009
The 5th Annual Cotee River Bike Fest will be held in Downtown New Port Richey at Sims Park from October 9th through October 11th, 2009:
October 9, Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
October 10, Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
October 11, Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

They are also having a food drive.

YMCA Kids Fishing Festival in New Port Richey, Florida on Saturday October 3, 2009
Children from ages 5 to 12 are invited to register for the YMCA Kids Fishing Festival which will be held at Sims Park in New Port Richey, Florida this Saturday.
This is a Catch and Release Tournament for Kids 5-12 benefiting YMCA’s of West Pasco Financial Assistance Program. The YMCA promises that no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay. New Port Richey, Florida is celebrating its Founders' Day throughout Sims Park.
Admission is free and donations are accepted to help sustain the event and future festivals.

New Port Richey Florida Cotee River Cleanup On September 19, 2009
Cotee River Cleanup is coming up next Saturday on September 19, 2009. Local volunteers will meet at the Sims Lark Boat Ramp at 8 a.m. The first 100 volunteers will receive a free t-shirt. Cleaning supplies are available and lunch will be provided at 11 a.m.
For more information on the Cotee River Cleanup, contact the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center at 727-841-4560.

Pasco County tries to do its part in reducing waste. On July 9, 2009 a press release announced an opportunity to increase recycling for the month of July 2009. (In March 2009 they announced "Recycle Paper Products at Your School."
The RESORCE Recycling Club is spending the entire month of July on its annual Phone Book Drive.
The club has been holding a phonebook recycling drive for the past three years. With the help of numerous corporate partners who provided drop-off sites, last year's phonebook drive yielded 17 tons of old phonebooks to be recycled.
