Orange Beach - Future Owner of the Wharf Conference Center? - 03/11/11 06:33 PM
The City of Orange Beach may be one step closer to having its own civic center as City Council members unanimously passed a resolution giving Mayor Tony Kennon authority to negotiate a purchase and sale agreement for The Wharf Conference Center.  Construction of the current Conference Center began in 2008. It now includes 18,600 square feet of space and can accommodate a variety of events including large meetings, receptions for up to 2000 attendees, meal seating for 1,600 people, and exhibition space for 100 booths.
