In any profession there will be a graph of those participants with the highest and lowest IQs. Contrary to popular belief this graph is not a Bell Curve. In fact it follows more in line with the 80-20 Rule. In considering this and studying the participants in the industry, it was noted that there are several sectors of the real estate profession that must be considered, each having a similar yet slightly different dynamic.

Some folks have a pretty dim view of our real estate professionals and attempt to categorize them with used car salesmen, stock brokers or lawyers and similar professional parasites - but I ask is this really a fair assessment?

Recently, a Think Tank began discussing the lack of Integrity in the Real Estate Industry and what percentage of blame was deserved where. Most Realtors blame the mortgage industry; the brokers, companies and the abundance of bad loans on properties during an unsustainable and irrational exuberance rise in home prices.
