winchester va real estate: My First Flip Video of 2013 Taylor Grace Ct./Park Place - 06/02/11 10:32 PM

Luckily, my family's next dinner doesn't rely on my videographer skills! Surely, the house will sell itself before you are motion sick. Moving forward, I hope to have a more steady hand. Since seeing the video, my sellers have removed some furniture and wall art from the upstairs bedrooms and made a number of other improvements. Now that it's late spring, the yard is green and the mulch beds are full of life. Time for an update!

winchester va real estate: Short sales and foreclosures are like big ugly zits! Winchester/Frederick County has a serious acne problem! - 04/15/08 07:54 AM

I bet your neighborhood has one of each! Mine has two foreclosures & one short sale on the market. You may even feel aggression towards that neighbor because you feel their asking price is dragging down the neighborhood and even cutting into your own personal equity.

The sad truth is that many agents in this area put ridiculously low prices on homes which are short sales to generate interest in a listing in hopes that a speedy offer will occur. Unfortunately, this makes the other homes in the neighborhood look overpriced even when they are priced well.
