When I learned that Fannie Mae No Longer Accepts Generic Pre-Approval Letters, I had already received the generic pre-approval letter and had written up an offer with dates in it that were based on not having to add 48 hours or more into the mix.
It turn out that Fannie Mae wants the lender to state, among other things, that they have reviewed the buyer's IRS 4506-T which takes about 48 hours to request and receive.

Buyers are always on the look out for great buys that are in ready to move in condition.  Sometimes properties are available at a reduced price as a short sale listing that is in great shape.  Eudora Kansas real estate could be appraised at $166,240 and I would suggest a short sale offer of $145,300 which would be a bargain.
