Hi There! K...we are always hearing about KW, REMAX, EXIT, blah, blah, blah! Now, I have lots of friends who are "franchised at the hip", but we don't hear enough about the importance of Independent Brokerages here in the Rain. independent: Splits Are Changing! So Are Loyalties. - 06/27/07 06:28 AM
Recently, in all of my interviewing efforts, I have found that the process of split negotiation has changed a lot from the time I graduated real estate school. I found a place that I wanted to work, asked how much they would give me...it seemed fair, so I signed on. I stayed there until I was confident that my production justified a raise and my broker wouldn't give me one. I interviewed with a Broker who faithfully sent me post cards offering fair compensation. I interviewed with him and found him to be a man of integrity and the office a comfortable

All right. Buckle your seat belts! With the arguably litigious society in which we live, I'm sure this will be a post for you to keep and perhaps share with your fellow professionals. I, for one, will never forget the lesson I learned today. Today's home inspection will forever change the way I look at home inspectors and the way that their extensive training can help us to gain a perspective that every real estate professional seems to lack. I think my last post about Home Inspection started a war on our site, (three members of a particular association deleted their entries), some people sent me private em's telling me they were about to be expelled from their affiliated associations. So I decided it would be a great subject to start a post about. I'd like to hear from real estate professionals throughout the country on weather or not they have a preference as to what association, if any, their most recommended home inspectors belong to and why. As a real estate professional, I want to say that it IS ABSOLUTELY AN INTEGRAL PART
