First of all, I'd like to say that I love lots of home inspectors...especially my husband Tom. (Who is NACHI certified and doesn't do inspections for me or anyone within our real estate company so there is no conflict of interest). I have met and worked with MANY professional inspectors who know their stuff and do a great job in protecting their client's interest.

All right. Buckle your seat belts! With the  arguably litigious society in which we live,  I'm sure this will be a post for you to keep and perhaps share with your fellow professionals. I, for one, will never forget the lesson I learned today. I think my last post about Home Inspection started a war on our site, (three members of a particular association deleted their entries), some people sent me private em's telling me they were about to be expelled from their affiliated associations. So I decided it would be a great subject to start a post about.
I'd like to hear from real estate professionals throughout the country on weather or not they have a preference as to what association, if any, their most recommended home inspectors belong to and why.
