Economic Cancer: That Sense of "Entitlement" - 10/25/09 11:47 AM
This is an incredible post and I had to re-blog it. Wake up America. There is no free lunch and we need to get back to earning our way and not expecting entitlements. Via Janet Guilbault California Mortgage Banker/Broker: When did we start to feel entitled? In the Depression of the 1930's, the jobless father of 4 asked the farmer if he could work on the farm for a day in exchange for food to feed his family. In the Depression of 2010 do we just take the food from the farmer because, after all, you and your family are entitled to eat?

The winds are changing! Have you noticed a significant decrease in your area inventory? - 10/02/09 12:07 AM
The last four years have been interesting to say the least. Talk about a head jerk turn around in the market. These past few years have been dominated by large inventories, short sales and reo's. I'm very optimistic though that better days are right around the corner, at least for certain markets. Recently, I have been having a hard time finding properties for certain clients. They are ready, willing and able to buy, but there are no homes that match their criteria! "You've got to be kidding me, right?" In running the local inventory figures, we are down 30%
