Your definition of achievement defines the results that you would like to bring about through your actions.
Typically, dictionaries define achievement as 'an accomplishment attained by effort'.
Similarly, synonyms for word 'achieve' include:
consummate complete execute realize reach win There is at least one common factor in all of these terms...whether dictionary definition or synonym.
That common factor is the element of action.
This means that our achievements are results that are brought about as a result of action that we have taken.
They are not outcomes that just happen to us.
