Like political junkies everywhere, I am saddened by the death of Ted Kennedy. Committed to pubic service and driven to make a difference in our world, he was an inspiration to anyone who values these same values. He is gone...but his legacy lives on. Happy Earth Day! Today...April 22...is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. Making A Difference When I believe the glass is half full, I value days that have been designated to recognize something special. This would include make me with the majority of Canadians...71% of whom believe that Earth Day is still important Certainly our planet Earth qualifies as something special...it is after all the only planet we can live on. Some one would have to be newly arrived from some other planet to not see the damage we have caused to planet Earth. So
