Speechless Sunday - hopefully this is the last winter scene you will get from me. I love the look of the snow, but it's not something we deal with well here in the south.

REBarCamp Nashville is coming. This is the second year for REBarCamp and only a few tickets remain. I see a lot more wildlife this year than usual, the snow is beautiful, but I'm ready for green grass and sunshine now.

If you live on another planet, you might not know that this is the coldest snow filled winter that we've had in a long time. I can complain about it, or just get out and enjoy it. One thing is for sure, pictures of neighborhoods look a lot different in the snow.

Sales of Nashville Luxury homes for the month of December continued to be consistently strong with 14 closings at an average sales price of $1,541,267. This compares to 19 closings of Nashville luxury homes clising in December of 2009 at an average price of $1,329,298. As you can tell, the average price of Luxury home sales in Nashville is up 16 percent. A little more information is the average size of Nashville luxury homes sold in December is up from 6822 square ft to 8098 square ft.

Williamson County's Gated Communities - Everything you can imagine - 01/19/11 11:20 AM
Gated communities in Wiiliamson county used to seem unnecessary to me, since the crime rate in Brentwood and Franklin is extremely low. But now I understand that not only does it keep the criminals at bay, it also keep the beggers away. I've bought enough stuff from people knocking on my door that I didn't need, or didn't receive. It also keeps the tour buses away from celebrities.

Advertise your Nashville home on Google - Mr. homeowner, I understand that you want to sell your Nashville real estate for the highest possible net price, and I am here to help. I know that you will be interviewing several of my competitors today, and all of them are good real estate agents. But, will they guarantee that your home will be the first thing a buyer sees if they google your neighborhood. How about your school zone, maybe even your town.

Brentwood homes sales seem to be picking up with 57 closings in December, comparing very favorably to the 47 Brentwood homes that closed in December of 2009 a 21 percent increase. Brentwood home prices have not been as fortunate with price of closed homes in 2010 at $635,927, compared to average prices of $725,925 in 2009. We had a very nice snow here in Tennessee, and the snowmen builders and sled riders were having a great ime. I have alway had a lot of enjoyment in driving in the snow, but I get older, I appreciate the fact that a lot of people are terrified by the lack of control they have over their cars. It's never seems to bother me.
My car is rear wheel drive, but it does have anti-slip and anti-skid intelligence and the usual anti-lock brakes. A lot of cars have these today, but I can turn mine off. What fun.

Franklin homes sales for December one again were showing a surprising trend of rising prices. Franklin homes sold in December of 2010 averages $451,840 but in December of 2009 Franklin homes only averaged $403,432, and increase in price of 12 percent. This indicates that the trend to smaller homes has changed, and statistics shows that the average size of Franklin homes sold in December of 2010 was 3274 square ft and in 2009 it was 3145 square ft, a difference of 4 percent.
