Short Sales: Communication is Key! - 04/29/11 09:47 AM
Communication in a complicated transaction is alway important, and in the case of short sales, Banks expect the buyers and sellers to react almost immediately, even though they have been moving in slow motion. It's a really odd double standard, but it's their ball, and we have to play by their rules or get out of the game.

Speechless Sunday - 04/24/11 10:44 PM
Speechless Sunday - Sort of. I was looking through my pictures of homes last year, and I came across this one. This house was damages by a landslide and a large tree. Something we rarely see in Nashville. It's just one of the things that happened during our 1000 year flood.

Do You Think Your Taxes Are Fair - 04/18/11 10:19 AM
Since this is tax day, It seems like everything you see on TV this morning is about taxes. I don't know about you, but when I look at my tax bill at the end of the year, I'm usually not a happy guy. In many of the past years, my federal income tax expense was higher than my house, cars, and food for the year combined.
I'm concerned about how my money is spent.
Just a rant from someone who's had enough taxes already

For those of us who have lived in the Franklin area all of our lives, it's good to see an additional interest in the area to preserve history for future generations. Thanks to great writers like Robert Hicks, more people will learn a little more and maybe visit Franklin. A lot of people … (0 comments)
