Just over a year ago the last auto rolled out of the Chrysler plant in Newark Delaware. This Thursday Feb. 25 there will be a auction of machinery and tools and then the demolition will begin which is expected to take 2 years.
The grand vision for the university to become a national leader in science and technology development and a major job-creating engine in the state.

Newark Delaware short on its snow budget
Like many cities all over East coast Newark Delawares snow budget has dried up according to Newark Delaware Mayor Vance Funk III.
Mayor Funk added, "We used up the snow budget in the first storm in December," "We usually budget based on the average snowfall for the last three years and the total snow in the last three years equaled what we had in December."
To pay for the salt, plowing and overtime Newark is taking money from other parts of the budget to handle the last 2 snow falls

NYC- This is cool, Eddie Rabon who lives in Hells Kitchen NYC lives in a apartment that is much smaller than many peoples closets! (mine is 96 sq. ft.) Eddie said his longest wall is 12.5 feet long and about arms length the other way!
The shower (yes there is one) is so small Rabon has a tough time turning around and the sink is the same you would see in a airplane. From news reports he really enjoys living there because he said hes living in a great area of a great city.
