Good news from FHA- Guidelines extended through 2012 - 12/29/11 10:49 AM
The Federal Housing Administration has extended the "temporary waiver" on the anti-flipping rule through 2012. This is great news for the investors, the homeowners looking to buy houses that have been rehabbed and for all the potential new foreclosure listings that are sitting in limbo right now in our neighborhoods.  The rule of "arms length" transaction stays in place.  A lender must show the FHA a reason for a loan that is more than 20% above the value of the acquisition price.  Investors should have no problem showing this reasoning.  Rules that investors follow is acquiring a property at 20-30% under … (1 comments)

Here in the Northeast there are really only three choices during the holidays.
