remax: Spending time in the Rain, Gita Bantwal, my home town - 10/07/13 04:11 AM

I would love to meet with Gita Bantwal from Bucks County, PA.  Aside from the fact that Gita is a fantastic person and Realtor, she also lives in the area I grew up.  I have followed and commented on her blogs since I first found her here in the Rain.  Knowing her area as I do I have learned a lot about what to do and how to do it in terms of marketing real estate and my own personal brand from Gita.  I love seeing the pictures and am always thrilled to see a home I knew from back … (0 comments)

remax: Boston Back Bay MA Condo Market Report Sept 2012 - 10/17/12 01:09 AM
Back Bay Boston Condo for sale
Boston Back Bay MA Condo Market Report Sept 2012. With 174 listings in this report this month it can be said the market is rebounding.  This means good news for both buyers and sellers because the inventory is there and needed.  Interest rates remain low and with the looming election we have no idea what will transpire afterwards.  If your Condo has fallen into the expired on canceled realm you only have two things to consider and they are price and marketing.  If you have been on the market without at least 5 showings … (1 comments)

remax: Dave Liniger of RE/MAX named most influential by Inman News - 01/12/12 06:03 AM
Dave Liniger founder of RE/MAX was just names the Most Influential Person in Real Estate in the country in 2011.  This award coupled with the JD Powers #1 award for both Buyers and Sellers  in Real Estate clearly indicates that training, focus and followthrough will always differentiate any group of people from the rest.  If you are not getting what you want or need, call a RE/MAX agent.  If you are an agent looking to do better, call a RE/MAX office.  Congratulations Dave Liniger for showing us the way.  Others talk a talk, but you have walked the walk!

remax: Wellesley, MA Single Family Housing Report November 2011 - 12/06/11 01:05 AM
Wellesley November 2011 Housing Report
Wellesley, MA Single Family Housing Report November 2011 had a larger number of homes in the market than either Weston or Wayland. This isn’t entirely a surprise it is a larger community.  The Average Days on Market (DOM) went up, but that is happening all over this area right now. With the media spewing as much conflicting information as possible it has buyers and sellers confused.  Consumer confidence is also an issue, it is hard to know what to believe.  The truth is that the market has been fairly stable. The slight ups and downs are … (0 comments)

remax: 193 Beacon Street Boston, MA 02116 Sharing memories of the Back Bay - 03/22/11 02:30 AM
193 Beacon Street, Boston's Back Bay
193 Beacon Street in Boston’s Back Bay will soon be on the market for sale.  The owners are downsizing with their daughters, who were raised in this wonderful home are off to colleges and careers.  I asked the owners to share some of their memories about this home knowing that these stories will help the new owners understand the home and location much better.

remax: Massachusetts Economic Report and beyond - 02/14/11 04:31 AM
The economic report for Massachusetts and beyond is getting slightly better.  My opinion is that it will continue to get better over the next couple of years for a number of reasons.  Firstly with a Presidential election less than two years away all the politicians will be working hard to get elected.  They way they should do that is serving the people and the people need new jobs a stable economy and less political unrest caused by divisiveness.
On the National lever initial claims for unemployment benefits fell by 36,000 for the week ending Feb 5.  This is the lowest level … (2 comments)

remax: Free Agency - 08/05/10 02:50 AM
How did you choose your agency? Were you drafted? Did they come looking for you because of what you are doing, what you have done? How has that worked out for you?  Have you ever looked at other agencies and thought the grass may be greener? (In this business it might just be because they use more manure, if you catch the drift.) Have you ever really taken some time and researched the agencies to find out about the culture as well as the splits.  I have done that recently and see some clear differentiation between the top producers here in … (7 comments)
