Nice sunny day today here in Nova Scotia. Busy busy this week. Accepted offer on Maple Ave in Musquodoboit.Accepted offer on 4 Bayberry Drive.Accepted offer with all conditions met on Malcom Lucas Drive.Accepted offer on Burntcoat Road and an accepted offer on Georgefield Road. Seems like things are starting to loosen up after a spotty spring. I'm even busy with appraisals with 7 or 8 on the go with 3 commercial buildings. Haven't had much tme to work on line but I did get a video made of some of my newer listings. Check them out here.

My Nova Scotia Home
There is something about Nova Scotia that always draws us home. Over the years while in the military or when I worked as a miner up north (Thompson Manitoba) I always had to get home. I just love Nova Scotia. I love the landscape, the climate and the people. I love the kitchen parties,the gargage parties and the yard parties with the guitars and the sing songs. I have just created a video on Youtube to help send traffic to activerain and my articles. Video is one of the best ways to draw attention to your business. This is an animated video I created accessed by tools available on Youtube. After some trail and error I finaly created something I felt comfortable uploading. No offence to the imaginery broker or company mentioned in the video but I believe activerain offers a lot of wisdom for newbies .

There are many discussions going on across North America about the value of using a real estate agent. Below is a copy of an email I recieved from a customer and my response. Understanding Change Those of us involved in the Real estate industry are going through a time of change. There is a lot of misunderstanding and resistance to that change and reasonably so. We feel threatened and our livelihoods are at stake. I am going to attempt to explain from my perspective what is taking place .
