The new contract was expanded to ten pages and there were several changes that may surprise Buyers who are purchasing a home in Florida if not known about and responded to at the time of contract writing.
One of the additions to this contract that may impact Buyers is the paragraph titled: Property Inspection; Right to Cancel.

As of January 1, 2009, all Buyers who are purchasing condos in Florida should be provided with a new disclosure that communicates the roles and responsibilities of the both the condo Board and individual unit owners. This disclosure, called the "Condominium Governance Form" includes information related to voting rights, time required to post notices for meetings, the election process and other matters related to condo ownership. The City of Lake Mary is sponsoring a "Safety Fair" on Saturday, May 31st from 9:00am-1:00pm. The Fair will be held at Lake Mary's City Hall and in Central Park, where visitors can also enjoy the Farmer's Market. The Lake Mary Police Department, Fire Department, D.A.R.E. and other community organizations will be participating. This year, the City is asking visitors/residents to donate their unused cell phones to the "911 Cell Phones for Seniors" Project.
