Many times, Buyers think that they don't need a REALTOR when buying a new home directly from a builder. This thought process can often lead to a Buyer paying more for a home, or worse yet, it can mean that the Buyer's interests are not as well protected as they would be if they had their own advocate who was protecting their interests. You may have read in my previous posts about Washington Estates, a custom home community of only five lots...if not, you can read them here and here . I am pleased to announce that the first estate is now complete! The good news is, the home has been finished (minus the pool, which can be built prior to closing if so desired) and that this home has been reduced from $1.2M to $995,000. I don't know about you, but I love communities that have a vacation "feel" to them...not a cheesy, tourist-like vacation "feel"...(and trust me, we do have those here in Florida too!)...but one that comes over you when you pull in and you automatically relax... You know, that peace that washes over you the minute to step on a cruise ship or your toes touch the sand at the beach? Ahhh... Living and working in the Lake Mary/Seminole County area for more than 35 years, I have been impressed with a new home community in Lake Mary that has really captured that vacation "feeling" like no other community … (3 comments)
