condos: Las Vegas condo living - 07/17/08 07:48 PM
When it comes to condominium living, Las Vegas offers a bewildering array of choices. From entry level communities like Rancho Lake to ultra hip condos at X-it, condo hunters have a lot of communities to choose from. Why choose a condominium over a traditional home? Condominium living offers a less complicated lifestyle. Outdoor maintenance is handled by the community association. Condo communities typically offer several amenities, like a clubhouse, fitness facilities, swimming pool, etc. Condo residents enjoy a more lock and leave lifestyle. Many people often choose a condo as a second or vacation home due to these conveniences. Some communities offer

Great buyers' incentives are nothing new to the Las Vegas real estate market. New home builders are offering some fantastic deals in entice buyers into their communities. condos: Green Valley condominiums - 11/17/07 08:13 PM
Green Valley is a huge master planned community in the city of Henderson, Nevada. When it was first envisioned, Green Valley consisted of several large planned communities that fit into the overall master plan. As the community grew, higher density housing was incorporated into the plan and several condominium communities were approved. Now there are several Green Valley condos to choose from with resort style amenities. If you were thinking of buying a condominium in Green Valley, there are several newer developments to choose from. The Seven Hills area has Horizons and Avalon. Both are condo conversions and usually have resales available. The

condos: Another one bites the dust - 10/01/07 03:04 PM
Thought I would put up another cancellation notice. This year there has been a few more casualties among Las Vegas lofts and condos. Although that didn't stop other developers from announcing new projects. The biggie was the cancellation of the Sandhurst. It was announced years ago, and last year the Mayor Oscar Goodman specifically asked the developer when the project would be completed at a town meeting. The other surprise was the cancellation of the Boulders condo conversion. They simply stopped work and went back to renting out the apartments. I guess some lucky tenants received some upgrades. Moreover, both projects had

condos: Fire sweeps through condo community - 05/11/07 04:12 AM
Earlier today a fire broke out in the Murano condos community in the popular master planned community of Silverado Ranch in Las Vegas. The community is engulfed in flames and fire has gone to "3" alarms. A neighboring CVS pharmacy is being threatened by the fire. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire at this time. Because of the severity of the fire, the surrounding streets have been closed. Murano was still under construction at the time. It looks like the entire project may have been destroyed. -Charles

condos: Las Vegas Condo Market Report - 07/16/06 10:16 PM
Despite the cooling of the Las Vegas housing market, Las Vegas condos are still going strong. With the price of Las Vegas homes rising so quickly in the last couple of years, potential new home owners are turning to a more affordable property - Las Vegas condos. Another factor fueling the growth of the Las Vegas condo market is condo conversions. There are dozens of condominium conversion projects across the Las Vegas valley. Many of these communities are styled towards a more resort type living. Several offer extra amenities, such as free wifi internet access, private dog park for residents, putting

condos: Las Vegas High Rise Condos - 07/07/06 04:58 PM
It seemed that 2006 was going to be the year of high rise cancellations. The suspension of the Curve project comes on the heels of the cancellation of Icon, Ivana and Liberty Tower earlier this year. Despite this recent suspension, the amount of projects going forward is still far more than the majority of the "experts" had predicted. Recently, Las Ramblas also joined the ranks of the dream projects. However, several other new projects were announced and are going forward. The Residences at Red Rock are being built on to the newly completed Red Rock Station in Summerlin. They will be condo hotel units, aimed
