I've heard that before!  Then the following line is..."It's who knows you".  Well how about: "It's not who you know" it's: "How well you know them and they know you".  I believe both.  I need people to know me but I need them to know I'm a REALTOR.  I'm an ABR Realtor that is ready to help them successfully achieve their real estate goals.  I love being my son's mom but I'd also like everyone that knows me as "Austin's mom" to know me as a local real estate expert.

Did you read the article "Turning Buyers Around" by Gary Keller with Dave Jenks and Jay Papasan in the January issue of Realtor magazine?  
It was fantastic!  They've  written a book called "Shift".  
One paragraph they talked about working with buyers that are waiting for the market to reach the bottom.  
They offered a great visual to do with that type of buyer...simply take a piece of paper, start drawing a line down the sheet and tell the buyer to stop you when they think the market has bottomed out.  They will wait and wait and you will start … (2 comments)
