Lots of numbers on this chart!  The hard one for many sellers is the amount of months inventory these really is available.  That is something you have to understand and why you need to be the BEST on the block.  If you have no wow factor then your wow factor will have to be the price.

Trader Joe's Open in Mt Pleasant SC - 08/29/11 10:41 AM

This is a picture of my boys and I (well... I'm not actually in the photo) visiting Mt. Pleasant's brand new Trader Joe's yesterday!  I'm not one to rush to a grocery store opening but this place is different and worth the visit.  Thankfully we needed to run a few more errands after visiting this store or our car may have been filled with some of their frozen treats.  Next time I visit, I will have more time and I'm sure more items will end up in my buggy than necessary!

I'm trying to increase 2 things in my running:
1. Run farther at a decent speed
2. Run faster when covering less distance
On a thread mill with no pumps and no incline both these tasks are easy.  
Add hills and obstacles and... ugh... it's another thing! 
The same is quite true in real estate transactions.  Each day, I'm working at being a better agent.  I want to help my clients whether it is staying on top of many "pumps" or trying to move something along quickly.  So many transactions are just plain HARD these days and so full of … (6 comments)

This is video of my hubby being catapulted off a carrier many years ago.
 
(I just came upon it while cleaning the files of my computer.  
Time consuming task with fun finds!)
 
He was once in the Navy and then he started contracting jobs and thankfully didn't ride the entire tour hence the catapult.  
 
It starts out slow, but is a really short clip.  Steam from heat.  Heads have to be tucked so you don't snap your neck.

I showed many homes today to a great new buyer.  
One of them stands out the most.
Buyers were excited to see it because it had a large screen porch and a pool and still had a decent size yard for kids and dogs, etc.
How did the showing go?
Vacant home, good lot, nice curb appeal
Lockbox on front door easily popped open but the key didn't work on the front door.

Photo I'm loving today!  Some people LOVE candy some don't even notice it.  I'm in between... If I'm gonna go for it, I really want good chocolate or yummy chewy caramel or a really tasty taffy treat.  But truly, I'm more into desserts.  Warm it up and throw on some rich french vanilla ice cream and I will put my time in at the gym tomorrow!

Minnesota is the land of the lakes and luckily I grew up on a small one.  Pleasant Lake will always be home and I'm so happy my folks still live there and that the grandkids are able to have some of what I had all summer long.  If you are lucky enough to live by water... you are lucky enough!

2 years ago I could barely get off a random phone call I received.
At first, I was excited and the caller had my undivided attention.
"My name is 'blah'.  I've been given your name as an agent that sells in Mount Pleasant and I want you to sell my house."
My first thought - YEAH, what I am doing is working!  What I do... Sell houses... Is known!
But here's the facts:
I started asking questions.  I started typing away while on the phone with the caller.
Quickly, I learned that I would not be willing to take her listing.

Oh, just when you are going about your day and not expecting any surprise, BAM... out of no where a teen super star comes and sneaks up on me!
I know he's a busy young man but apparently I must of been on his list:

Belk stores have a few of these life size pics around and they plan on auctioning them when the advertising period ends and giving the money to some charity.  What a great win/win for all.
