Its that time again. How fast its passed. We just finished travel ball and now its almost time to start our 2009 Dixie youth Baseball Season her in Lexington South Carolina. My son moves up to Minors this year so I am so excited.

My husband loves this place. So does my children. Lunch or dinner with a bucket of balls.What could be better than that? They get to eat some really great food and then duff hit some golf balls. They have also recently added a great lighted par 3 course.
The food here is absolutely wonderful. Darren is the chef and he takes great pride in his craft. The crab cake sandwiches are out of this world.

Saluda Shoal Park is a 300 acre preserve on the lower Saluda River right near the Lake Murray Dam as its head water in the shadows of Lexington and Columbia. Miles of walking trails and river access. The Christmas season will be welcomed to Lexington SC by all this Sunday December the 7TH at 3:30PM. The parade will feature local bands, floats, beauty queens and all of our local politicians.
This year we will go back to the old route down Main Street. I have never quite gotten use to that new route and it seemed to have lost some of the tradition for me. So I was very pleased to hear this.
